New College Durham offers an impressive range of buildings, facilities and resources to offer a modern and stimulating learning environment, complemented by the most up to date learning materials, IT facilities and resources.
Adande delivered 12 new drawers to the college to add to the Adande drawer sets, already in place. The existing drawers had been used for
storing different food groups in prime locations in their training kitchen.
The ease of use and simplicity to change from fridge to freezer has helped our students enormously.
What has been your experience with modern refrigeration?
We have experienced broken seals, compressors failing and fridges breaking down. We’ve had no such problem with Adande.
What, in your view, are the benefits of using an Adande Unit?
Adande holds the temperature with a better accuracy than any of our current fridges or freezers. Being that they are fridge and freezer combined, we have more room and it’s more accessible for all our students.
Did you find the food quality improved and/or there is less food wastage?
It’s much more improved! The quality of food is better as it stays fresher for longer, even after long periods of time. Additionally there is less waste; which is great for everyone including our students.
How did you find support information and customer service at Adande?
So far all our dealings with Adande have been top notch, any enquiries we have had have been dealt with promptly and courteously.
We are trying to reduce our costs and feel Adande can help our College achieve this

Adande really has been a fantastic product and I would recommend this company and their products to anyone. It has helped so much already and our students and staff are really happy. The ease of use and simplicity to change from fridge to freezer has helped our students enormously.
How will you summarise your experience with Adande?
Very good, great for our students, fits all their ingredients for training, hence we will be ordering 6 more units later this year
